Our story

Hi! My name is Brette. I’m the happy founder of Nurse Meets Cake. In 2022, I decided to turn my cake making hobby into a home bakery business. My full-time job is being a geriatric nurse practitioner for people living in nursing homes. I’m a foster cat mom, wife of the guy in the photo to the right, boy band addict, and general food aficionado. But I also love making people happy with memorable cakes! I rediscovered my passion for baking in 2020 and haven’t looked back yet. Every cake is an opportunity to express myself and fulfill a vision for a customer. Thank you so much for visiting.
